Brad Guzan might be making an appearance in the United States following the World Cup this summer. In fact, he might be making two.

FC Dallas announced Tuesday that they will host Guzan and Aston Villa in a friendly on July 23 at Toyota Stadium. Additionally, Dallas announced that the Villans will continue their preseason tour with a trip to Houston to face the Dynamo, but gave no details as to when that match would be.

“We are very excited to be able to bring Aston Villa to Toyota Stadium for a game this summer,” said FC Dallas president Dan Hunt.  “They represent a quality English Premier League opponent who has been in very good form of late. They are anchored by several players who will represent their respective countries in the 2014 World Cup. Obviously, this will be a very competitive match and we are excited to be able to bring this quality game to our fans.”

Aston Villa are expected to practice at Toyota Soccer Center from July 19-24, and will have a special open training session and meet-and-greet with FC Dallas season ticket holders.

“Commercially, we are always looking to grow the club, while remaining true to the values we espouse as Villa people,” said Villa CEO Paul Faulkner. “I see this as a wonderful opportunity and I thank the staff of FC Dallas and Houston Dynamo for the courtesy and welcome they have already shown us in helping to put these games together.”
