SBI MLS Best XI (Week 7)

Real Salt Lake continues to be the only undefeated team in Major League Soccer, and a big reason for that is the continued outstanding form of goalkeeper Nick Rimando.

The U.S. national team goalkeeper made a handful of jaw-dropping saves to help RSL post a 1-0 victory against the Portland Timbers. A showing that earned him another place on the SBI MLS Best XI.

Joining Rimando on this week’s Best XI are RSL teammates Chris Wingert and Ned Grabavoy, who delivered the game-winning goal to knock off the Timbers.

Clint Dempsey is making it a regular part of his routine to make our Best XI, with his two-assist effort in Seattle’s win against Chivas USA securing his third straight appearance on the team.
