SBI Friday Rewind: USMNT adds friendly; college season kick off; Sporting KC partners with Brazilian club; and more

The U.S. Men’s National Team is keeping a steady post-World Cup pace, with a new friendly in October announced Friday. U.S. Soccer took the unusual tact of announcing the friendly on Twitter before a time or ticketing details had been set.

Meanwhile, SBI rolled out its rankings and previews for the college season that starts on Friday. Rankings go through the top 25 schools and the top 40 draft prospects of the college season. The previews include profiles of the top college teams this season and a look at three standout players to watch: Leo Stolz of UCLA, Cyle Larin of UConn, and Ramon Martin Del Campo of UC Davis.

And Sporting Kansas City entered a partnership with Brazilian club Fluminense FC, a move that has the MLS club leading the pack in terms of player development.
