UC-Irvine enter the weekend undefeated, but the Anteaters will face their biggest test to date Sunday when they pay a visit to the nation’s capital Sunday to take on the Georgetown Hoyas.

The SBI No. 6 Anteaters kicked off their East Coast road trip with a 3-2 victory over the West Virginia Mountaineers Thursday behind an Eduardo Calzada brace. However, the Anteaters are now tasked with taking on a frustrated No. 3 Georgetown side that will be looking to move past a 2-1 overtime loss to VCU.

In another Top 25 matchup, reigning national champions Notre Dame take on No. 19 Syracuse Saturday (7 p.m. ESPN3).  The No. 9 Fighting Irish, have had a rocky start to the season, with a 0-0 draw at home against Georgetown and a recent 1-0 loss to Kentucky, which leaves them with a record of 2-1-1.

Elsewhere, a Big Ten showdown between No. 8 Indiana and No. 11 Penn State will certainly be interesting, as both sides enter the match with a 3-0-1 record. Finally, in another intriguing ACC match, No. 2 North Carolina hosts Pittsburgh Friday (7 p.m.  ESPN3), with UNC forward Andy Craven looking to score another game-winning goal.
