UNLV continues the trend of knocking out top teams this year.

The Rebels upset SBI No. 10 UMBC Friday night, which leaves them undefeated this season, with a 4-0 record.

Furman upset the newest member of the SBI Top 5, Coastal Carolina, 1-0. The Paladins’ Lewis Hawke scored his fourth goal of this season, while Sven Lissek made seven saves on the night. Coastal Carolina played extremely well against some of the nation’s top teams to begin the season, but they simply could not find the back of the net despite out-shooting the Paladins 26-7.

Meanwhile, SBI No. 1 UCLA is still looking to find their rhythm, as they played a listless 0-0 draw against Santa Clara. They will look to bounce back on Sunday, when they play a Cal Poly side, who are currently 4-1 this season.
