Ahead of this week’s Panama U-17 International Tournament, U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team head coach Richie Williams has called in a roster full of familiar faces.

Midfielder Christian Pulisic and forward Haji Wright, who have each scored 11 international goals this year, headline William’s 20-man roster that is set to take on Costa Rica, Canada and hosts Panama from Oct. 1-5 at Panama City’s Estadio Maracana.

Wright and Pulisic will be joined by goalkeeping duo William Pulisic and Kevin Silva, who boasts three shutouts and a 0.87 goals-against-average this year.

The U.S. roster includes 15 players stationed at the U-17 Residency Program in Bradenton, Florida.

The U-17s most recently featured in this summer’s overlapping Nordic Open Cup Tournament in Denmark and Copa Mexico in Mexico City, where the U.S. took home sixth and fourth, respectively. The U-17s head to Panama with a 13-5-5 overall record in 2014.

    • he’s been unattached for awhile now and has been trialing with a number of clubs in Germany. turned down LA for now. i believe his biggest issue is he has no EU passport which means any deal would have to be similar to other US youth players where they sign a pre-contract until they’re 18 but can’t play any meaningful games until then.

    • 5 are, 1 was, and several others are with traditional “power” clubs which all play in the USSDA. Moreover, some are not that close to any MLS teams, and some are in areas so deeply teeming with talent that no MLS academy can accommodate the prospects!
