Just stunning. He creates just a bit of space, then blasts it between the two defenders without even much of a “wind-up”. And that was no bender into the upper corner, either. It was an ever-rising laser. I felt fortunate to be there to see it. What a player.
That’s also his flick on that unlocks the defense at the start of the sequence. Then watch the defender run right past him to give him the space he drifts into to receive the pass before the shot. Henry is just at another level of soccer IQ and ability. I don’t think MLS has ever seen a better player — and Henry is arguably having his best overall season now.

With all due respect to those brave and crazy enough to play as GK: The GK’s first response when scored on is to check the linesman’s flag. Then to scream at his teammates. In fairness, they are also first to congratulate when a back makes a goal line clearance or any sort of block. It’s human.

WOW. I wonder if Arsenal are looking at him for help in this, their time of need for a goal scorer…..he can still be a super sub at that level.
