The list of unbeaten college teams keeps getting shorter and shorter, and Saturday saw two more teams fall from the list.

SBI No. 23 Saint Louis defeated No. 10 Creighton, 1-0, on Saturday to drop the Blue Jays from the ranks of the unbeaten. Senior Robert Kristo scored the Billikens’ game-winning goal in overtime.

The Billikens are on a four-game win streak, and they have used the help of freshman goalkeeper Sascha Otte, who made eight saves against the Bluejays, to continue their good form. The Bluejays are now 5-1-1 this season.

The upset of the day saw SBI No. 21 UNLV drop a 4-2 decision to a Gonzaga side that hadn’t won before Saturday. Sophomore midfielder Jakob Granlund scored the first two goals for the Zips to help hand UNLV its first loss of 2014.

SBI No. 14 Coastal Carolina suffered its second defeat in three matches, allowing a pair of late goals in a 2-1 loss to UAB. The Chanticleers opened the scoring through Sergio Camargo, but the Blazers responded with first-half strikes from Pachinno Roberts and Freddy Ruiz.

SBI No. 5 UCLA topped UC Santa Barbara, 1-0, with senior midfielder Leo Stolz scoring the game-winning goal in front of 5,104 people.
