Jermaine Jones has proven to be the missing link for the New England Revolution.
The visiting Revs topped Sporting Kansas City, 3-2, at Sporting Park last Friday due to Jones’ 85th minute game-winner, as the Revs bounced back to pickup their sixth victory in seven games. The victory over Sporting KC sent the Revs into second place in the Eastern Conference and earned the team SBI MLS Team of the Week honors.
Despite conceding two straight goals in front of a hostile crowd, the Revs demonstrated the type of composure that will be necessary as the team continues their postseason push.
The Revs beat out FC Dallas, Los Angeles Galaxy and the Vancouver Whitecaps for this week’s honors.

Tough not to like the Revs’ chances right now. Great team win on the road.
