Things have been going pretty well for D.C. United in recent weeks, but some bad news has hit the club.

D.C. United have announced that Chris Rolfe is expected to miss the next six weeks after sustaining a fractured left forearm in training on Wednesday. Rolfe had surgery on the injury on Wednesday night, and will now be sidelined for much of the remainder of the regular season.

Rolfe has been a key part of the Eastern Conference-leading club’s recent success, scoring three goals and setting up three others in his last eight league appearances.

In total, Rolfe has six goals and six assists in 21 matches for D.C. United this season.
