The top of the SBI College Soccer Top 25 may have a serious Pac-12 feel to it, but the very top still belongs to a team from the Midwest.
The Indiana Hoosiers have held on to the No. 1 ranking in the latest SBI poll after posting road victories against Michigan and Evansville. Boasting an 8-1-1 record in their past 10, the Hoosiers are looking like a good bet to win a second straight Big Ten title when tournament play roles around in November.
The battle for Pac-12 supremacy continues, with four of the conferences teams in the SBI’s Top Eight. UCLA battled Stanford to a hard-fought draw to remain No. 2 in the rankings, while California climbed into the Top 10 after pushing their unbeaten streak to four matches.
