After their 4-0 victory against UConn Tuesday, SBI No. 6 Syracuse have now scored 24 goals and have only allowed three all season.

The Orange continued their win streak, which is at eight matches, while they also improved their record to 12-1. The Orange’s Chris Nanco, Tyler Hilliard, Sklar Thomas and Noah Rhynhart provided all four goals in the second half, while Alex Bono had little work to do to earn his 10th clean sheet of the season.

No. 19 Notre Dame improved to 7-3-2 with their 1-0 win against Northwestern. Patrick Hodan converted a penalty in the 66th minute, and goalkeeper Patrick Wall recorded his fifth clean sheet, making only two saves during the evening.

Meanwhile, North Carolina have won four consecutive matches and outscored their opponents 15-2 in that stretch. The Tar Heels routed Georgia State, 4-0, and were led by Nyambi Jabang, who scored twice.

Andy Craven scored the first in the 27th minute, and Jabang added the next two before halftime, scoring a 35-yard strike and heading in a Omar Holness’ corner kick. Verneri Valimaa scored the final goal in the 89th to improve the Tar Heels’ record to 9-4.
