With just one game remaining, the MLS Disciplinary Committee has closed out the 2014 MLS regular season with a trio of suspensions.
The league announced Thursday that undisclosed fines and one game suspensions had been handed out to Sporting KC fullback Igor Juliao, Toronto FC midfielder Dwayne De Rosario and Houston Dynamo midfielder Luis Garrido heading into the season’s last regular season contest.
Juliao’s suspension, which will see the defender miss a crucial matchup with the New York Red Bulls, comes after Juliao was seen cleating the Philadelphia Union’s Andrew Wenger in last week’s 2-1 loss for Sporting KC.
De Rosario will miss out on Toronto FC’s visit to the New England Revolution Saturday after kicking out at Montreal Impact defender Hasoun Camara when the Canadian rivals clashed last week. After being taken out from behind, a frustrated De Rosario swung his foot at the incoming Camara, as TFC settled for a 1-1 draw that eliminated the club from postseason contention.
Finally, Garrido will miss out on the Dynamo’s final match under Dominic Kinnear for a dangerous tackle on the Revolution’s Lee Nguyen. Garrido will now miss out on the Dynamo’s visit to Toyota Park to take on the Fire.

What do you think of the suspensions? Did the Disciplinary Committee get these right?

Garrido deserved more than one and it wasnt a tackle. He threw an elbow to Lee’s face/neck with no other purpose but to take him out. Lee was lucky he didnt catch him square or he might have been knocked out.
That crap has to stop and the league needs to do more than one game for stuff like that
That’s not how it works in the MLS though…
They overlooked Martins off the ball kick too. I guess that’s ok now too…
It’s not ok now. That’s why the ref saw it, called it, and gave a yellow card.
I feel like they missed one, Finlay got hit off the ball by Miller and nothing was called, is that alright to do in the game now?
