In one of the most anticipated matchups this weekend, SBI No. 15 Georgetown topped No. 7 Creighton, 1-0, on Saturday. The Hoyas’ win ended the Blue Jays seven-game winning streak.

Hoyas midfielder Arun Basuljevic scored the game-winning goal in the 72nd minute after receiving the ball from senior Austin Martz. Georgetown’s victory helped them snap a two-match losing streak.

In the most thrilling match of the weekend, No. 25 Kentucky scored a golden goal with only a minute remaining in overtime to secure the 4-3 win over South Carolina.

The win puts the Wildcats atop the C-USA table, jumping over No. 10 Charlotte and No. 17 New Mexico — who both won during the weekend action.

Kentucky midfielder Napo Matsoso scored a hat trick before 60 minutes, but the Gamecocks were resilient. Ive Burnett scored in the 66th minute, and Mikkel Knudsen scored a brace within the last eight minutes of regular time. Ryan Creel netted the decisive goal to give the Wildcats their fifth consecutive win.

Both SBI No.1 Indiana and No. 2 UCLA recorded victories this weekend, with Indiana topping Michigan and UCLA downing Oregon State.

Michigan forward Ahinga Selemani opened the scoring against the Hoosiers in the sixth minute, but the Hoosiers had answers from all around. Grant Lillard scored 30 seconds into the start of second-half play, while Andrew Oliver scored in the 54th and Tanner Thompson netted in the 72nd.

UCLA’s Andrew Tusaazemajja and Larry Ndjock scored the first two in the eighth and 51st minute respectively to lead the Bruins to a fourth straight win. Beavers freshman Timmy Mueller tried to spark a late comeback by scoring in the 84th minute, but Oregon State fell short.
