Just months after being crowned world champions, Germany has been knocked off by massive underdogs Poland.

Germany, which hadn’t lost to Poland in 18 matches, was upset on Saturday in Euro 2016 qualifying, 2-0, behind goals from Arkadiusz Milik and Sebastian Mila. The Germans had not lost a European qualifying game since October 2007, a streak marking 33 matches.

Reigning champions Spain bounced back from Thursday’s loss to Slovakia by routing Luxembourg, 4-0, in a game that saw striker Diego Costa score his first goal for La Roja. Costa, who had been held scoreless in his prior six appearances, was joined on the scoresheet by David Silva, Paco Alcacer and Juan Bernat.

Meanwhile, Mexico picked up its third straight victory in a 1-0 friendly win over Panama. The game’s lone goal was scored in the 89th minute by Chivas USA forward Erick “Cubo” Torres, his first with the senior team.

In other action, Brazil defeated Argentina, 2-0, in a friendly, England narrowly edged Estonia, and Robbie Keane scored a hat-trick as the Republic of Ireland thrashed Gibraltar by seven goals.
