With 24 Europa League clashes on the schedule, Soccer Thursday is set to be quite a busy one.

The day’s action is headlined by a meeting between England’s Everton and Lille, who currently sit eighth in Ligue 1. Thursday’s clash has already been littered with controversey before the two sides even take the field, as a group of Everton supporters have been tear gassed after incidents in Lille’s city center.

Fellow Premier League club Tottenham are also in action in a matchup with Greece’s Asteras Tripolis. Tottenham will be looking to rebound from a frustrating 4-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City, who settled for a draw with CSKA Moscow in yesterday’s Champions League action.

In addition, reigning Europa League champion Sevilla take on Standard Liege, Fiorentina visits Greece to take on PAOK and Inter Milan hosts Saint-Etienne.
