Soccer Wednesday: Your Running Commentary

The UEFA Champions League is back for a repeat performance Wednesday with a slate of eight afternoon games.

Wednesday’s action is headlined by a clash of reigning champions as Juventus head to Spain to take on Atletico Madrid. The Colchoneros welcome back head coach Diego Simeone to the coaches box after serving a ban, and the squad are high on morale after a 4-0 thrashing of Sevilla last Saturday.

Also in Champions League action, Arsenal host Galatasaray as the Gunners look to win their first match of the campaign, Real Madrid travel to minnows Ludogorets, and Liverpool hit the road to take on FC Basel.

  1. Yea, it’s Real Madrid, we all know how they win their tropheys…if they aren’t winning, the referees will ensure that things turn around quickly.

    Two penalties, second one was disgustingly fake! Shocking refereeing, and they wonder why the world hates Real Madrid..

    • what is fox sports net? the madrid game isn’t a streaming option for fox sports go…which makes no sense. i googled fox sports net and don’t see anything.

      ESPN and NBC are so much more intelligent than Fox. even games that they have the rights to, which they don’t show on one of their channels, are still available to be streamed via the online platform. idk why Fox Sports Go does not do the same. really annoying.
