Luis Suarez is set to make his Barcelona debut in the most highly-anticipated match of the club soccer season.
Suarez, who joined Barcelona this summer, will make his return from suspension against heated rivals Real Madrid in this season’s first edition of El Clasico. Barcelona enter the weekend having yet to allow a goal yet this season on their way to the top of the La Liga table. The team is now tasked with stopping the threatening Real Madrid Galacticos, who will likely be without stars Gareth Bale and Sergio Ramos due to injury.
A pair of heavyweights collide in England as well, as Louis van Gaal’s Manchester United look to become the first team to put a blemish on the record of Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea. Entering the weekend unbeaten, Chelsea have stirred talk of the legendary Invincibles behind the stellar play of new additions Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa, who is doubtful due to injury.
In addition, this weekend sees a Bundesliga clash between unbeatens Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach, the semifinals of the CONCACAF Women’s Championships and the conclusion of the MLS regular season.

How arsenal vs sunderland got picked for saturday 10 am over liverpool vs Hull is beyond me. Well maybe a 10-0 drubbing by the gunners is what they think will bring over the american fans.
When they go to a more structured format of game times. I really hope they keep a Friday Game of the Week. I love the Friday games. Even if it is Houston-Chicago in 2014.
The new TV contract has a “game of the week” on Friday on Univision with commentary in English available.
is the Sounders v Galaxy really going to kick off at 11:30 local time? Even with a half hour pre-game, why so early? Seahawks?
I would say almost certainly to better allow NBC to connect its EPL coverage seamlessly to a showpiece/trophy MLS game (NFL is a Sunday thing). If so, I’d say great move , at least from the perspective of growing TV interest . How will be rockin in SEA if they started the game at breakfast
You forgot Fulham on Friday on Bein @ 11:30PST
