The last two World Cup winners are set to do battle Tuesday.
Spain’s and Germany’s 2014 campaigns have fallen on opposite ends of the success spectrum, as La Roja are still looking to recover from an early exit from this summer’s World Cup, in which the German’s claimed their fourth crown due to a late Mario Goetze finish.
Despite the successes, the Germans have struggled of late, having won just two of five matches since lifting the trophy against Argentina, who knocked off Jocahim Loew’s side back in a September friendly.
The Argentines will also face their own significant test Tuesday when they take on Portugal in a meeting of the two players widely regarded as the world’s best. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are both expected to take the field Tuesday in what will also mark Ronaldo’s return to Manchester’s Old Trafford.
In addition, Tuesday features a matchup between rivals Scotland and England, while Chile faces Uruguay and France takes on Sweden.

Ah man, Luiz Adriano got a call up for Brazil? I hate that guy. Just one thing he did but honestly who keeps the ball after a injury restart and scores a goal. Just about the scummiest play you will ever see.
Not posted above, but the result is in:
Canada U20 1 – US U20 0.
God I hate canaduh
Does anyone else have issues with Bein Connect? It never logs in and launches the video. Horrible Site.
Its not going to beeasy for Mexico, especially since Belarus is just coming off a 3-0 lose to Spain, a lot of holes in back have been closed up, mistakes highlighted and changes made…….its going to be an up hill task for Mexico……
Mexico will carve up Belarus for 3-4 goals.
Maybe give up one or two.
Vela, Guardado, Chicharito, Gio dos Santos – will roll in style.
Actually it was Belarus who carved up Mexico for three goals while only giving up two.
Mexico only played Hernandez, Vela and Herrera in the second half though. Ochoa was not in goal.
Still, Belarus out-shot them by a decent margin.
Basically, you can’t take a whole lot from friendlies. Too much disjointedness.
It doesn’t appear to have been the starting Mexico CB pairing however… the backups were terrible. I hope for Mexico’s sake those were like the 4th string CBs because they couldn’t deal with anything.
Called it…….
It will be difficult to watch the US knowingly Spain and Germany are on
lol spain will lose 4-1
The Mexico game is also on Espn news and espn go
