  1. You gotta wonder how many times Schmid has to fail in order to get fired. He has the best talent in the league but always does something boneheaded. You’d think he was intentionally trying to lose it for Seattle with those subs. Just a few weeks ago he subbed in Pappa for Evans in the last two games of the year and Seattle won the Supporter’s Shield scoring two goals each time after the 70th minute. Either Schmid is getting dementia or he is very senile.

    • As a LAG fan I hope, pray and am making human sacrifices that Seattle get rid of Sigi. No better way to ensure that the LAG continue to beat Seattle like a drum then for the Sounders to dump a perfectly good coach for this years flavor of the month. Besides what can Sigi do that could be worse than trading Mike Magee for Robbie Rogers????

    • What is interesting is Dempsey stopped diving and looking for the foul call. I guess he realized that in MLS we don’t call that a foul.

  2. Really nice strike by Juninho there but should that corner even have been given? Donovan was clearly offside on the clearance by Scott

  3. Not much football going on. The most basic of football skills, passing, trapping etc… still escapes most players in two of the best teams in the league.
I’ve seen more skills in a women’s college game.

    • Its not that bad but guys like Clint and Martin are drastically better at it than say… Marco Pappa. The difference between top tier DPs and even Eddie Johnson is mind blowing.
