In their penultimate preparation match ahead of the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championships, the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team came through with a win.
The U.S. U-20s defeated Honduras U-20s, 2-1, at the Olympic Stadium in San Pedro Sula, Honduras in the first of two friendly matches during this week-long camp for the U.S. Romain Gall opened the scoring in the 73rd minute before Tommy Thompson scored the eventual game winner two minutes later
Honduras U-20 winger Kevin Alvarez scored the lone goal for the hosts in second half stoppage time. Honduras face the USA once more on Sunday in the same stadium.
After missing the first game, Sunderland’s Lynden Gooch is set to arrive and join up with the squad on Friday.

Another late goal against though. The U-17s gave one up too. Lack of focus in the final 10-15 minutes seems to be systemic throughout our teams right now.
Romain Gall will lead the way
I just have a feeling that he is going to be special. Eager to see where he fits into Columbus’s plans in the upcoming season; hopefully, Berhalter will be good for his development.
