Very surprised that neither PK had a DOGSO call either. The first one maybe, but how can the 2nd one not be DOGSO? If the goalkeeper doesn’t foul, Jamieson is past the GK with an open goal.
Does anyone know what place the US would be in if they beat T&T with Guat. losing to Panama? They’ll have the same # of points, but the US should have a much better goal differential. Would the US be 2nd (and play the 3rd place team from the other bracket)?
I can’t see them determining the reseeding on anything other than goal differential, since you are taking teams from two groups. If the U.S. wins and Guatemala loses, the U.S. should be the number one team in the ‘repechage.’ Theoretically, you could have the U.S., Guatemala, and Honduras all on 10 points; it would almost assuredly not matter at that point: the U.S. has a much better differential right now, with Guatemala and Honduras likely locked into the 2 and 3 spots. El Salvador simply needs a result to be in the repechage, whereas Cuba needs to win that match outright.
How can you keep playing when you’ve been pushed to the ground with a body rolling over you? To call that PK soft is ridiculous. Even if there was no violence intended, it was a clear denial of a goal-scoring opportunity and therefore not only a PK but a red card as well. As was the second PK.
Oh Canada . . .
stay classy Jamaica.
I don’t think any of those were malicious – just overzealous.
that kick in the balls tho…… lol

Good job boys!
The first pk is a soft call. I’d rather see our boys keep playing after those challenges in case the referee decides not to call it.
seriously? the Jamaican player put a forearm into his back. he was mauled.
in any case, i like how us soccer is dialing up the drama with that music.funny

Haha no. The Jamaican player looked like he gave him a clothesline to the back to stop him.
