Brendan Rodgers hopes to keep Liverpool’s trophy chances alive this afternoon when his side visits Wimbledon in the third round of the FA Cup.
Steven Gerrard starts in his first game for the Reds since announcing that he’s headed to the USA in the summer, while Rodgers has selected Javi Manquillo and Rickie Lambert over Alberto Moreno and Mario Balotelli. Meanwhile, Tottenham are visiting Burnley in the same FA Cup round.
Elsewhere, French champions Paris Saint-Germain return from their winter break to take on Montpellier in the Coup De France, and in Italy, Lazio face off with Sampdoria in Serie A action. In Scotland, second-place Celtic look to begin their charge to take back the top spot in the league with a visit to Kilmarnock.

Gerrard with a deuce. MLS will be lucky to have him, sorry haters.
yes, from yesterday’s showing against wimbledon, he’ll be useful when playing the early rounds of the us open cup.
Watching/listening to the live broadcast of the Liverpool match, and the AFC fans chanted “your support is f*cking sh*t” completely unedited…pretty funny.
