After a pair of disappointing results, the U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team is in virtual must-win territory if it wishes to qualify for this summer’s World Cup.

The U.S. will play Aruba in the third game of its U-20 CONCACAF Championship campaign in Jamaica, and is in need of a win after tying Guatemala and losing to Panama. U.S. head coach Tab Ramos has made wholesale changes to his lineup due to this being the Americans’ third game in six days, and anything short of three points will likely end their chances of finishing among the top three nations in Group A.

SBI will be providing live commentary for today’s match, so feel free to follow along here. As always, you are welcome to share your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below.

    • ted tran,

Hydnman is the only US player who has already been capped by the “full Nats”..

So he is not one of the first, he is already THE FIRST of this group to be transitioned to the senior team.

And it is likely he will be the only one, at least for a while.

  1. Sweet goal by Hyndman. Nice control with the ball and shot placement. And pow! Gall with a hat trick as I write. Yes, it’s Aruba but still some well taken, confident goals.
