With the addition of Wilfried Bony, Manchester City was forced to make room for the January signing at the expense of forward Stevan Jovetic.
Jovetic was dropped from Man City’s UEFA Champions League squad in favor of the Ivorian forward, who is currently preparing for this weekend’s African Cup of Nations finale. Each of the remaining 16 clubs were allowed to introduce three new eligible players by the deadline of Feb 3.
Real Madrid took the opportunity to add recently acquired Martin Odegaard to the club’s roster. The 16-year-old prodigy will be joined by fellow January acquisition Lucas Silva, while Abner and Guillermo Varela have been removed from the list of eligible players.
In addition, Arsenal reintroduced the previously injured Olivier Giroud, Bayer Leverkusen added German-American goalkeeper David Yelldell, while Chelsea included recently-signed winger Juan Cuadrado.

Has David Yelldell ever made an appearance for Bayer?
I rather have Jovetic then Dzeko for Champions League. Bony will be a great addition though.
