Real Madrid begins its quest to repeat as UEFA Champions League winners in Germany, with Schalke 04 trying to pull off the monumental upset in their Round of 16 matchup.

Schalke is at home today in Gelsenkirchen as Roberto DiMatteo’s side looks to try and stop Cristiano Ronaldo and the Spanish powerhouse (2:45pm, FOX Sports 1).

Real Madrid is a bit shorthanded in defense, which could bode well for Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. The Dutch goalscorer will need to find the net today to give the underdogs any real chance of winning this series.

In Switzerland, Basel takes on a dangerous Porto side in a clash of entertaining Champions League underdogs (2:45pm, FOX Sports 2).
