Justin Mapp’s injury is as bad as some originally feared.
The Montreal Impact announced on Tuesday evening that Mapp has undergone surgery to repair a dislocated and fractured left elbow, with a recovery time of at least four months. Mapp suffered the injury late in the second half of the Impact’s 1-0 defeat to D.C. United, as Mapp was attempting to score a goal in the 18-yard box on a solo effort.
The injury leaves the Impact without one of their key attackers after just one game of the 2015 MLS season. If there are no setbacks, the 31-year-old midfielder could come back by July.
Last season, when the Impact finished dead last in the MLS standings, Mapp assisted on eight goals.

What do you think of this news? How big of a loss is Mapp to the Impact’s season hopes? Who do you see replacing him in the lineup?

Get better soon Justin!
Well…. i guess the Impact will have to bring up their game vs. the Costa Rica team. The impact are a strong team. So they have a chance. But they will have to fight hard!!!!!
