For teams eliminated from the UEFA Champions League in the Round of 16, there isn’t much time to mourn when league races are still underway.

Arsenal lost to AS Monaco in the Champions League Round of 16, but Arsene Wenger’s side is on a five-match winning streak and sits just one point behind Manchester City for second place in the English Premier League. A win today against Newcastle could push Arsenal closer to first-place Chelsea, and closer to locking up a Top Four spot.

In Germany, both Schalke and Bayer Leverkusen saw their Champions League dreams ended, but both teams are fighting for a chance to return to the Champions League next season. Leverkusen is currently in fourth place in the German Bundesliga, three points ahead of Schalke.

In Mexico, Club Tijuana is enjoying a strong campaign and sits in first place. Cruz Azul will look will look to stop the Xolos when the Liga MX clubs meet today.
