The SBI 2015 NASL Season Preview

A new team debuts in Florida, another world superstar joins the action, and several teams unveil revamped rosters as the 2015 NASL season kicks off with a full slate of matches on Saturday.

The North American Soccer League continues its steady growth as a league this weekend, with the Jacksonville Armada debuting to what is expected to be a record crowd for an NASL match. Further south in Florida, Spanish legend Raul will make his debut as the New York Cosmos kick things off against a new-look Fort Lauderdale Strikers side. Meanwhile, in Texas, the San Antonio Scorpions begin defense of their Soccer Bowl title.

SBI will be ramping up the coverage of the American second division this season, and that increased coverage has begun with our preseason previews, and more. If you missed any of it, here is a rundown:

  3. I think the only teams that have a chance to win are between Armada, Cosmos, MU, Indy 11, Scorpions, Railhawks, Silverbacks, Strikers, FCE, Rowdies, or the Fury in no particular order.

    Don’t care to follow NASL, no West Coast Rep! I’ll just stick to MLS or USL!
