Both Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich must overcome significant deficits to advance in today’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal action.
A pair of Luis Suarez goals coupled with a Neymar strike in Paris leaves Barcelona in the driver’s seat for the return leg against the French champions (2:45 p.m. ET, Fox Sports 1). Thiago Silva will be missing for PSG, though Marco Veratti, who scored during a 3-2 win against Barcelona in the group stage, is expected to be fit.
Competition favorites Bayern Munich will also be fighting through injuries and a 3-1 deficit during its home leg against Porto. Arjen Robben will miss through injury, while Franck Ribery is also expected to be out.
Porto, which is so far unbeaten in this season’s competition, will make the semifinal round for the first time since 2004 with a favorable result.

At the end of the day Bayern is Bayern..
hoped psg would put up a fight… hard game to watch boring
It is scary how good Bayern is apparently playing today. It is amazing to me how a team at this high level can appear to turn it on when it wants to.
I thought Bayern would probably still get through. However I didn’t see them putting it to bed in the first half. Not too much drama in the second half for either match.
