MLS Week 6: SBI Live Commentary

In one intriguing Eastern Conference showdown, New York Red Bulls head to RFK Stadium to face D.C. United in a packed MLS Week 6.

Both sides enter the match on a two-game win streak, and both sit atop of the Eastern Conference table early on. Bradley Wright-Phillips and Lloyd Sam each have two goals on the year and will look to combine against a DCU defense that has not allowed a single goal at home thus far.

Meanwhile, Sporting KC are looking to take down Real Salt Lake for their third consecutive win. SKC is coming off of a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory against Philadelphia Union last weekend, but RSL may be a tougher challenge, being one of the only undefeated teams left in MLS while also sitting on a two-game win streak.

  1. Crew v Revolution sputtering along. Almost 80 mins in, might be more yellow cards issued than shots on goal so far (or at least that’s how this game appears).
