Ben Olsen for next USMNT manager.
LOL ..I’m sorry I still won’t drink the Ben Olsen Kool-Aid. Yes he won coach of year last year…but he was so bad the year before…like really really bad…worse than a chivas team that didn’t care…. i’d rather have Jason Kreis…
Hamid was awesome. Can see him being the starter for the US in the future. Not sure why Deleon came off at half. Was he injured or did Ben not like what he saw?
The best Brazilian in MLS plays for DC United. Nice game! Hamid is at least equal to Guzan and may be better than a diminished Tim Howard (post World Cup.)
No way man. Kaka has been playin like an MVP.
I’ve never seen a team get out played as DC regularly do and win.
They don’t appear to be good…. like at all.
Except for being the Eastern Conference Champions, and having both the Goalkeeper of the Year and the Coach of the Year.
That’s last year…
I’m talking abuot this year. This year they don’t appear to be very good.
much of last year was the same. the outfield players were frequently poor, but hamid kept them in the game (hence his GotY award) until they could find a goal.
and olsen got his award based largely on how abysmal they were (under him) in 2013. we’ll always love him in dc, but i’ve never been that impressed with him as a manager.
Except for the fact they have yet to play with their two top goal scorers, EJ (who may never return), their big off season midfield signing in Halsti, and have lost their starting defender in Birnbaum for six weeks. If you asked fans or Olsen to take 3-1 record without having Espindola, EJ, Silva, Halsti, and Birnbuam availabi think they would have taken that in a heartbeat. Haters gonna hate, watch out later in the season when they have their weapons back.

hell yes
DC isn’t even a playoff team with out Hamid
I have watched more of Orlando City than my hometown Galaxy this year, I think. They can’t complain about a lack of exposure, that’s for sure…
Grant Whal is a match announcer on Unimas. Crazy.
I know. Kudos for Unimas thinking outside of the box there, and probably trying to appeal to the MLS hispanic fan base. Anyway, Donovan’s spanish is better then Wahl’s….but I guess Captain America wanted too much dinero.
Wahl did OK but his pronunciation could be better and he often thought thoughts in English and spoke them literally in Spanish instead of saying it the way Spanish-speakers do. It doesn’t seem like he’s a veteran Spanish speaker. It probably took some guts on his part to do that.
Orlando could have used a Grand Wahl on the field.
Bill Hamid lights out again. Terrific (almost point-blank) save to keep DCU from going down a goal towards the end of 1h.
With United playing like they are and Orlando City apparently fielding a very real team for expansion, I wonder who is the favorite here?
