All that’s at stake is local pride, but it’s all that is needed when AC Milan and Inter Milan lock horns.

A 1-1 draw the last time the teams met leaves them dead-even over the last 10 games, with both winning four and sharing a pair of ties. While the winner may not take any major steps toward securing a spot in Europe for next season — with Milan in ninth place and Inter in 10th — victory does go a long way toward ensuring one will finish the season higher than the other.

In England, Aston Villa and Liverpool meet in an FA Cup semifinal for the chance to meet Arsenal in the final in May. The teams split their league meetings this year, with Liverpool winning the most recent matchup 2-0 at Villa Park back in January.

Sevilla can climb even on points with fourth-place Valencia with a win on the road to Granada. In the Bundesliga, Schalke is also fighting for a European spot away from home against Wolfsburg.

Comments

  1. Might as well change the schedule again – FOX Sports 1 is going with NASCAR and has bumped the Portland:New York game to FOX Sports 2 which nobody feels like paying for one day at a time. Seriously, MLS needs to keep the FANS in mind when they work out these television deals.
