Soccer Thursday: Your Running Commentary

The Europa League takes centerstage Thursday, headlining the day’s action with a quartet of games in the tournament’s quarterfinal stage.

Currently second in the Bundesliga, Wolfsburg highlight the day’s action in a matchup with Napoli, currently fourth in Serie A. Fellow Italian side Fiorentina also faces a road game with a trip to Ukraine to take on Dynamo Kyiv.

Reigning champions Sevilla also take the field for a matchup with Zenit St. Petersburg, while a clash between Dnipro and Club Brugge rounds out the day’s action.

Elsewhere, MLS action headlines the evening’s schedule as New York City FC hosts the Philadelphia Union. In addition, the Copa Libertadores returns to action with Boca Juniors taking on Palestino and San Lorenzo facing off with Corinthians.
