Borussia Dortmund has one last chance to end what has so far been a torrid season with some silverware, but it must come at the expense of Germany’s best team.
Dortmund squares off with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena today in the first DFB Pokal semifinal. Bayern has its sights set on a treble, having already sealed a third straight Bundesliga crown over the weekend.
A home match against Getafe should be easy going for Barcelona, though its precarious two-point lead at the top of La Liga adds some extra drama to the midweek meeting. The Catalan side is currently on a 14-match unbeaten run through all competitions.
With a UEFA Champions League spot slipping away, Liverpool is looking for any victory possible. But the Reds may find it hard to come by in Hull, where the Tigers are trying to pull away from the relegation zone.
Finally the Copa Libertadores knock-out stage commences later in the evening. Bolivian side Club Universitario hosts Tigres UANL in the first leg of their round of 16 clash.
