After a week off for a FIFA international fixture period, European club soccer is back in action with some juicy matches across the continent.
Arsenal hosts Liverpool knowing a win could cement the Gunners’ place in the top four, while the Reds are desperate for victory after falling five points behind fourth place. A late stoppage-time goal from Martin Skrtel produced a 2-2 draw between the teams back in December.
Now firmly out of the relegation zone, the weekend is all about restoring pride for Borussia Dortmund when the former champions face Bayern Munich. Dortmund is trying to continue its streak of seven games without a loss, while Bayern looks to maintain its 10 point lead at the top.
All of the action in Italy happens on Saturday to accommodate for Easter, and the round includes two battles for European places as Roma hosts Napoli while Fiorentina battles Sampdoria.
In France, things heat up at the top of the table as Lyon try to take back first place from Paris Saint-Germain. Lyon must overcome Guingamp on the road, while PSG battles third place Marseille who is also still in the Ligue 1 title race.
Fourth place meets fifth in Liga MX when Cruz Azul enters the Azteca to face Club America on Saturday. MLS national TV coverage rounds out the weekend with San Jose Earthquakes playing Real Salt Lake and winless Philadelphia Union traveling to face Sporting Kansas City.

Am I the only one not getting any MLS game on FS1 on their guide?
Never mind, apparently AT&T Uverse isn’t carrying the MLS game on FS1. Anyone got any idea what the dispute is?
Apparently there’s a big contract dispute btw AT&T and FS1

Tasty tv lineup. Vamos United! … and bright and early tomorrow… Oh when the Reds go marching in. Go LFC.
Thanks team SBI in advance for shaking off your hangover and getting the Saturday RC thread up
🙂
Did the new tv deal kill the MLS Free Stream of the Week? That haven’t had one yet this year… I can’t afford MLS Live and although i love having more games on national tv this year, sometimes there are other games I’d rather watch.
I see the New york City Farm club doesnt have a game this weekend. I guess their parents are in town and need the infield this weekend?
I am loving the NASL games on ESPN3.com! Long overdue to watch Cosmos and others.
Go Strikers!!
Red Bulls v. Impact game was rescheduled to accomodate Montreal’s CCL game.
