There is only one Messi!
Yeah, the one that plays in FC Barcelona. Put him in Athletic Bilbao and you’ll see how good he really is. He’s always had the best supporting cast money can buy. I do agree, however, the guy is phenomenal.
yeah, his teammates really set that on a platter for him. that was basically a tap in. whether he plays for Bilbao, QPR, Inter, or Barca, Messi is on the short list for greatest of all time.
OK…
Craig Burley should do the color commentary for every soccer game ever…
I just went from cheering for Aston Villa to cheering against them. How in the world has Guzan not been able to get at least one start in these last couple of games. One error and he’s out? Without him Villa would be in the Championship right now. I hope Given has a terrible game. Yes call me whatever. I really hope Aston Villa gets demolished and Guzan leaves that stupid team. He deserves way better than what is being given to him.
I feel the same way. I was prepared to cheer for AV but now I’m hoping Given makes a blunder.
Brad should not have too hard a time finding a good job.
Of course it wasn’t just one error that led to Guzan’s benching. While he hasn’t been terrible this season, his form had been a bit spotty. Not sure I’d have benched him if I was in Sherwood’s shoes, but can understand why he did so (as would most fair minded observers of Guzan this season).
And demolition is being served by ARS.
Regardless, Guzan should have suitors as BPL squads surely can examine his body of work, which to your point includes keeping AV in many games and being their MOTM when AV’s D and attack were stuttering (especially the season before this one).
Anyone…SBI…anyone…know if Brad is starting for Villa today?
No, he warmed the bench.
