Episode 210 of The SBI Show leads with the U.S. Under-20s emphatic victory against New Zealand, which featured standout performances by several U-20 standouts, including Rubio Rubin, Gedion Zelalem and Emerson Hyndman.

  1. Orlando City is not partially privately funding their stadium, They are 100% privately funding the new stadium which is unheard of.

    Give credit where its due.

  2. Good game, but New Zealand’s defense was just awful. Looking forward to the Ukraine game. They should look to lock up 1st place to have a better round of 16 seed.

  4. Ives spot on with his Zelalem comments.. few players anywhere make space for themselves like that .. and the USWNT kits.. keep them with the flag colors not OU style.

Garrett on point with the movies! Mad Max is crazy and the Jurassic trailer looks lame. And San Andreas? Come on Ives step up ur movie game! ha..

WILD FOR THE NIGHT indeed! ha. Great pick considering last night’s game, you called it. And here’s the sad thing: I went to type Wild For the Night into the web just to hear the Rampage joint again…and what mainly pops up is a Skrillex and ASAP song by the same name. ??? Booooooo.

Anyway, props for staying up late to catch the game. I taped it but watched it this morning. Zelalem and Hyndman sound like a great pair of running mates on the US ticket every four years.

  6. I was pretty impressed with the performance against NZ. Zelalem is getting more comfortable and has a knack for making time on the ball to find the unlocking pass. You can see that the Wenger mentality has rubbed off on him, very quick in his thoughts and always looking to stretch possession.

Rubin and Jameison were fun to watch as well, but Gedion is clearly the class of the squad. I’m usually a “slow and steady” guy when it comes to player development, but this kid is ready. He’s as mentally advanced in his game as any player I’ve seen come through the US pool.
