Both Argentina and Paraguay know how it feels to lose a final match, as Argentina was defeated by Germany in last year’s FIFA World Cup and Paraguay was topped by Uruguay in the 2011 Copa America final.

However, the 2015 Copa America is a chance at redemption for both nations entering Tuesday night’s semifinal clash in Concepcion, Chile.

Argentina’s deadly attack has looked, at times, unstoppable, as the only real tactic against it is to bunker deep and hope for a counter-attack opportunity.

Yet, Paraguay is the one team in this tournament that stood toe-to-toe with Argentina in attack, and it hopes similar play leads to a positive result once again.

Argentina and Paraguay faced off in Group C on June 13, and while stars Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero put on a dazzling performance, Lucas Barrios and Nelson Valdez provided the key goals for the underdog in a 2-2 draw.

If La Albirroja wants to be as fruitful, the crafty Derlis Gonzalez will need to create a spark and help provide. Meanwhile, the backline, led by Paulo da Silva, will need to find some way to suppress the Argentina attack that is surely going to find and create chances throughout the 90 minutes.

Argentina are hoping star Angel Di Maria shows up, as the Manchester United midfielder has had a quiet tournament compared to fellow Argentines Aguero, Messi, Gonzalo Higuain and Javier Pastore.

Javier Mascherano, Messi and Aguero are all on one yellow card, so each will have to be careful if they want to play in the final should Argentina reach it.

The winner will meet host Chile in the final on Saturday, while the loser faces Peru Friday.
