The Mexican National Team is ready to kickoff a busy summer with two international tournaments, and Miguel Herrera’s side will endure one more difficult tune-up before the first of those competitions when ‘El Tri’ takes on Brazil.
Mexico settled for a 1-1 tie in Peru last week in what was a relatively lackluster performance ahead of Copa America, but will need a much better effort to beat Brazil in Sao Paulo.
Sunday’s soccer action also features Women’s World Cup title contenders Germany, which will face underdog Ivory Coast in what should be an entertaining clash in Canada.
MLS action resumes with the Rocky Mountain rivalry at Rio Tinto Stadium as Real Salt Lake takes on the Colorado Rapids. The San Jose Earthquakes and FC Dallas also square off in a clash of Western Conference foes.

Strong game by Marrufo.
Discuss among yourselves
That was Marrufo in the Quakes/FCD game? That would explain a lot – didn’t recognize him. Sure did enjoy the flurry of cards, though.
