The latest MLS Rivalry Week saw another set of memorable matches, and some strong statements made form coast to coast.
Episode 228 of The SBI Show takes a look back at MLS Week 26, including San Jose’s impressive win against the LA Galaxy and the New York Red Bulls’ dominating display against D.C. United.
Co-host Garrett Cleverly and I also discuss the U.S. Men’s National Team roster selected for the upcoming friendlies against Peru and Brazil. We break down the selections, and omissions, and ponder what we might see from this team in the coming days. We also discuss the U.S. Under-23 squad convened for friendlies in England, a group featuring several stars from the U.S. Under-20 World Cup team.
We also discuss a wide range of topics from the start of the college soccer season to the UEFA Champions League group stage draw.

Thanks for the show…
Dallas is usually hotter than this summer, but usually a lot less humid…but like anywhere, you live here long enough and you get used to it.
That scene from Training Day and the poker game is exactly how I described Cliff Curtis to a friend before we started watching Fear…and for once I agree with Garrett’s assessment of something (statistically bound to happen at some point), Fear is a great show and the junkie kid is killing it so far.
I don’t see RSL making the playoffs. I was interested in first pick possibilities and potential coaching hires.
