The English Premier League is back in action this weekend, and the new campaign will kick off with an entertaining headliner as Manchester United takes on Tottenham.

Louis Van Gaal has spent the summer transforming Manchester City’s lineup in a quest to build a title contender, and he will face off against Harry Kane and a Spurs side eager to break back into the UEFA Champions League conversation.

Friday night kicks off Liga MX action, with Santos Laguna playing host to Club Tijuana. The Xolos bid farewell to most of their most high-profile Americans, but the clash against Santos Laguna should still offer plenty of entertainment value.

The Ligue 1 season gets underway with reigning champions Paris St. Germain taking on Lille. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is sidelined by injury, but PSG will still have plenty of firepower to kick off its title defense in style.

Some of Major League Soccer’s best rivalries will be on display this weekend, including the New York Red Bulls-NYCFC clash, and the LA Galaxy taking on the Seattle Sounders.
