After losing five in a row from June to July, the New England Revolution have found an explosive form that has made them almost unstoppable since.

The Revolution went into BMO Field Sunday and took down Toronto FC, 3-1, to claim their fifth consecutive win and sixth in seven contests.

The dynamic play from Lee Nguyen and Diego Fagundez, as well as the return of a healthy Jermaine Jones, has vaulted them into contention for the Eastern Conference crown and earned them honors as SBI MLS Team of the Week.

The Revolution used the collective effort of all Sunday, as Jones and forward Teal Bunbury combined to force the first goal. Nguyen teed up Fagundez on the second for the Revs, and Nguyen stole the ball away from Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley before Kelyn Rowe finished for the third of the day.

Now just two points behind the New York Red Bulls in the Eastern Conference standings, New England beat out Real Salt Lake and Orlando City for SBI MLS Team of the Week honors.

Think the Revolution were the best team in Week 28 or would you have chosen someone else? Think New England can top the Eastern Conference?
