As the 2015 campaign moves along, pressure continues to mount, but the nation’s top teams have continued to impress, including the Akron Zips.

For the most part, the SBI Top 25 stayed the same, as the nation’s ten best teams remained high on the chart. Creighton retains its No. 1 spot after avoiding a potential defeat at home to Drake in a comeback victory Tuesday.

North Carolina reeled in another strong showing, this time taking down Pittsburgh last Friday and defeating then-No. 15 UNC-Wilmington, which now drops to 17th.

Inside the Top 10, Notre Dame falls from fourth to seventh after tying North Carolina State and Michigan Sunday and Wednesday, respectively. Picking up wins last Saturday and Tuesday, Akron makes the jump past now-No. 10 Georgetown into ninth. Now on a four-game win streak, the Zips have already posted strong results this season, including a win against Georgetown.

Riding a five-game win streak, Radford broke into the Top 25 for the first time this season. The Highlanders have outscored their opponents 15-3 in that stretch to earn a No. 25 ranking. The Big South side isn’t the only outsider to enter into the fold this week, though.

ACC contender Syracuse climbed the highest in this week’s edition. Five consecutive wins, including a recent one against a formidable Duke side, helped the Orange surge into 15th.
