Two Serie A sides meet at a crossroads in Rome Sunday, and if either club wants a chance to win the league title, a win is a must.
Lazio hosts AC Milan at Stadio Olimpico in what will be one of the more intriguing battles of the day. Currently in sixth on the Italian table, Lazio is looking to continuing its home dominance this year. Meanwhile, Milan sits in eighth on the table, but it is only two points behind its Sunday foe.
Felipe Anderson has been fruitful for Lazio, scoring four recent goals in as many games, and he’ll be hoping attacking partner Miroslav Klose can tally his first one of the season. Milan still will not have Mario Balotelli at its disposal, but M’Baye Niang should be available and could be ready to contribute for the visitors if called upon. Carlos Bacca, who has scored five goals in eight Serie A starts for Milan, will also be a handful for Lazio.
Meanwhile, a battle between two U.S. internationals takes place at Goodison Park. Tim Howard and Everton face off against DeAndre Yedlin and Sunderland in one of two English Premier League games Sunday.
The NASL Fall Season ends today, with the Jacksonville Armada and Fort Lauderdale Strikers seeing off the 2015 regular season.

L……O…….L
yikes, Sunderland’s december schedule is Arsenal, Chelsea, City and Liverpool….. good luck…..
well, i like them against chelsea.
wow, that 6th goal, that was an amazing outside the boot curler from lukaku to Kone, wow wow wee wow, lol.
by my count Yedlin was only really to blame for 1 our of 6 goals, not the worst possible outcome perhaps? lol
The soft bigotry of low expectations.
Sunderland just keeps on giving…. up goals. LOFL
yea maybe this 532 wasnt the best move….
Kone technically Yedlin’s for the 5th… he would have had to run like corner flag to corner flag almost but yeah.
and he just got subbed for Larson. I’m not sure that it was because he was playing badly so much as… Sunderland is getting owned in midfield. He will get yelled at by Sam at some point.
yea thats the tough part about being a wingback. Yedlin had just tried to cross it, blocked out of bounds, his throw in into the box was cut out and began that counter that Kone scored on. to be fair some of the other goals came from the other side and weren’t on counters, just where Van A or Jones were out of position. but yea wingback is kinda a catch 22 sort of position.
how’s yedlin doing so far in general? still can’t get myself to watch another sunderland game yet–ptsd from the jozy era.
he’s been his usual decent self. the first goal was not his fault, the second Everton drove down the middle and Yedlin came over to try and help block Kone’s shot but Kone curled it around him. can’t really blame yedlin for that but would have been more favorable had he blocked it. other than that he’s had maybe one or two bad passes and the rest of the time was done well. he’s showing the ability to get forward and help in the attack. the 532 was working for the first 15 but then Everton figured it out and put 2 in the net. Defoe with a lucky deflection to pull one back right before half
thanks
Random note, Ibarra scored in MX, so judging by the Morris/Wooten/Wood standard he should start the next game for the US right? lol
its comical to watch Defoe get angered but terrible passes to him… reminds me of someone else…..
by*not but
brilliant link up between Kone and Lukaku, Yedlin tired to come over to help but couldn’t get the block. 2-0 Everton….. lol
just kidding… Van A got beat and gives up a goal, the LCB (jones) was also too tucked in
SUNDERLAND……L…….O……..L…..
“Andre DeYedlin” Lol.
I’ve liked how he’s been doing at RB, but looks like he’s in the midfield today against Everton.
lol did the commentator call him that? also, i agree about RB but they’re playing a 532 so he’s still a RWB rather than a true RM. tomato, tomahto, lol
meanwhile Van Aanholt looks like a man on fire so far, seems he wasn’t happy about being benched and is now trying to prove his value. interestingly he’s a much better LWB than a LB similar to Yedlin being better at RWB than RB
