After spending just one season with the Montreal Impact, an English midfielder is heading home.

Nigel Reo-Coker, 31, has officially left the Impact and will pursue a future in England after the club terminated his contract on Friday. The midfielder played in 28 matches for the team in 2015. (REPORT)

FC Dallas has signed 20-year-old EcuadorianĀ Carlos Gruezo to a Designated Player contract. The former Stuttgart midfielder appeared at the 2014 FIFA World Cup for Ecuador, and was the fourth youngest player in the competition. (REPORT)

San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Fatai Alashe will miss four to six weeks following his successful hernia surgery. (REPORT)

  1. Carlos Gruezo is an amazing talent I’ve seen him play in Stuttgart and was very impress that a 19-20 year kid was playing in such a high level. Too bad the coach kept him on the bench. I see this kid maturing with FC Dallas and becoming stronger for years to come to make his way back to the Bundesliga.

    Was he out of contract or did just decide he’s no longer playing in MLS and left with repercussion?
