U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team defender Shaq Moore is staying in Spain.
On Thursday, Segunda Division side Real Oviedo announced that the club has signed the American right back. In addition, the club stated that Moore has begun training with Real Oviedo Vetusta, the club’s reserve team that features in the fourth division of Spanish soccer. Terms of the deal were not disclosed in the club’s release
Born in Powder Springs, Georgia, Moore was previously a member of Spanish side Huracan, and played in six games during 2015.
The 19-year-old started in two games for the U.S. during the Under-20 World Cup last summer, and has frequently been a call-up for the U.S. U-20, U-18 and U-17 Men’s National Teams.
