While top clubs across Europe battle it out in league play, Everton and Chelsea kick off an intriguing FA Cup contest in Liverpool.
The Blues travel to Goodison Park, where they lost, 3-1, in September. However, Chelsea has done much better under the direction of Guus Hiddink this season. The potential addition of John Terry, who has been sidelined recently due to injury, will help the club’s cause on the road.
Barcelona and Atletico Madrid host Getafe and Deportivo La Coruña, respectively, while Bayern Munich will attempt to increase its lead atop the German Bundesliga table against relegation contender Werder Bremen.
While the Texas Derby headlines action in MLS, Sporting Kansas City-Vancouver Whitecaps and New England Revolution-D.C. United kick off in two more intriguing contests.

Fox makes some of the worst programming decisions. They also have overflow channels which they barley use (eg, Fox, FX etc.). You could also show games on some of these stations because nothing is on at 9:30AM
It took NBC a year or two before they started showing games on USA, give them some time. They will follow the ratings as will the advertisers, if more people watch Bundesliga instead of NASCAR they’ll make the change.

Bobby Wood goal
had to stop watching before his goal, but he looked good. he’s great at hold-up play, and consistently makes intelligent runs–interesting because i consider those to be jozy’s main weaknesses. wonder how bobby and jozy would look in a two-forward setup–have we seen that before?
also, surprised that msv pulled out the win–when i was watching, union berlin was dominant.
