Too much diving
Other than Villa and Giovinco there’s no reason for this game to even be on television…… or played at all.
Yes, yes we know Rob — MLS is terrible. You tell us every day.
Erik Palmer Brown started for the 2nd straight game for Porto II in the Portugal Segunda Liga.
Trying to watch this match on ESPN between NY/Toronto but the pitch looks about 10 feet long and about 5 feet wide. A shockingly horrible product visually to showcase for any type of fan.
Agreed. It is a joke. Reminds me of the blue plastic field (JC Field) the Dallas Burn played years ago. Horrible. Trouble is,…there is no solution in sight for NYCFC.
Dortmund should have won 6 or 7 to 0 Rues alone missed at least two empty netters. Bring back Pulisic.
Off topic, I saw Brothers Grimsby yesterday. It was full of preposterous scenes that requires a suspension of disbelief that I couldn’t manage, none more so than when England won the final. Don’t waste your time.
Guzan has been solid between the pipes for Villa. Imagine what he could do with a replacement level defense in front of him.
Rubio made the bench, looks like he might be ready call up in two weeks
Doubt he’d be ready for a full 90, but I’d feel much better knowing he was an option off the bench, especially knowing his track record against the Colombian program (played well in his senior team debut, and scored the wining goal against their U-20 team at the WC)
