The opening week of the 2016 MLS season saw tons of goals and several wild finishes, and the newest episode of the SBI Show breaks down all of Sunday’s action.

Episode 250 of The SBI Show breaks down all 10 matches, including the LA Galaxy’s victory against D.C. United and Toronto FC’s upset of the New York Red Bulls.

Host Ives Galarcep and special guest Paul Tenorio make their picks for the league’s top performers, and also discuss the performances of top Americans Abroad, as well as the English Premier League title race.

  1. I like how the concern for the galaxy was depth, and now it seems that having the Highlander is back and play a significant role (fingers crossed). gio is gonna be transfered? It’s a lot of new faces, he might just need to find his place within the new look. It’s still early. On the other side of the coin Gerrard was terrible, and I’m not sure de jong can handle all the defensive work he will need to do with Gerrard aka “molasses” paired up with him. Steres played fairly well in Van Dammes place too.
